How To Make Enchilada Pie

This savory meat-filled dish tops it off with a generous amount of cheese. A creamy take on the usual enchilada dish.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb hamburger meat
  • 10 ½ oz cream of mushroom
  • 10 ½ oz cream of chicken
  • 10 ½ oz enchilada sauce, mild
  • Tostitos, plain
  • American cheese slices , as desired
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 1 cup milk

Instructions

  1. Brown meat with onion, drain off grease.
  2. Add cream of mushroom, cream of chicken, enchilada sauce, milk.
  3. Let simmer for 5 minutes to let ingredients meld.
  4. Meanwhile, crush chips in casserole dish.
  5. Add meat mixture and stir, place cheese on top and bake at 350 degrees until cheese melts.
  6. To make a hotter version, leave out milk, switch mild enchilada sauce for hot, and add sliced jalapeno peppers and juice. Follow directions as is.
