
How To Make Italian Fresh Purple Grape Cake

Ingredients
- 2 cups fresh purple grapes
- 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
- 1 ½ tsp baking powder
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- ½ cup milk
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9-inch round cake pan.

In a small bowl, mix together the flour, baking powder, and salt. Set aside.

In a large mixing bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.

Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.

Gradually add the flour mixture to the butter mixture, alternating with the milk. Begin and end with the flour mixture, mixing until just combined.

Gently fold in the fresh purple grapes.

Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and smooth the top with a spatula.

Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean.

Remove from the oven and let the cake cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.
