How To Make Ciabatta Bread

Ingredients
- 500g bread flour
- 10g salt
- 7g active dry yeast
- 400ml lukewarm water
- Olive oil
Instructions

In a large bowl, combine the bread flour and salt.

In a separate small bowl, dissolve the yeast in lukewarm water and let it sit for 5 minutes until frothy.

Pour the yeast mixture into the flour mixture and gently mix until a sticky dough forms.

Cover the bowl with a clean kitchen towel and let the dough rise for 1 hour.

Preheat the oven to 450°F (230°C) and place a baking stone or baking sheet in the oven to heat up.

Sprinkle a clean work surface with flour and transfer the risen dough onto it. Gently shape the dough into a rectangular shape.

Transfer the dough onto a piece of parchment paper and let it rest for 10 minutes.

Brush the top of the dough with olive oil and sprinkle with salt.

Transfer the dough (with the parchment paper) onto the preheated baking stone or baking sheet.

Bake for 25 minutes or until the bread is golden brown and has a crispy crust.

Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
