Ingredients

  • 1 pound Tuscan sausage
  • 4 cups kale, chopped
  • 4 cups ciabatta bread, cubed
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 stalks celery, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

  2. In a large skillet, cook the Tuscan sausage over medium heat until browned and cooked through. Remove from the skillet and set aside.

  3. In the same skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the onion, celery, and garlic. Cook until the vegetables are soft and translucent.

  4. Add the kale to the skillet and cook until wilted.

  5. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked sausage, kale mixture, ciabatta bread, dried thyme, salt, and pepper. Mix well.

  6. Pour the chicken broth over the stuffing mixture and toss until everything is evenly coated.

  7. Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish and cover with foil.

  8. Bake for 20 minutes, then remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes or until the top is golden brown.

  9. Serve hot and enjoy!
