How To Make Calamari and Tomato Bruschetta
An Italian-inspired appetizer featuring a delicious combination of calamari, juicy tomatoes, and crunchy bruschetta.

Ingredients
- 1 lb. calamari, cleaned and sliced
- 4 large tomatoes, diced
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 1/4 cup fresh basil, chopped
- 1/4 cup extra-virgin olive oil
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 4 slices of ciabatta bread, toasted
Instructions

Heat the olive oil in a large pan over medium heat.

Add the garlic and cook for 1 minute.

Add the calamari and cook for 2-3 minutes or until it’s golden brown.

Add the diced tomatoes, salt, and pepper. Cook until the tomatoes have released their juices and the mixture has thickened, about 5-7 minutes.

Add the chopped basil.

Spoon the calamari-tomato mixture over the toasted ciabatta bread and serve.
