How To Make Indonesian Kue Lapis Recipe
A classic Indonesian layered cake made with coconut milk and pandan leaves.

Ingredients
- 500 ml coconut milk
- 175 g sugar
- 150 g rice flour
- 25 g tapioca flour
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 4 pandan leaves
Instructions

Mix coconut milk and sugar in a bowl.

In another bowl, mix rice flour, tapioca flour, and salt.

Combine the dry ingredients with the coconut milk mixture and stir well.

Divide the mixture into two parts.

Blend the pandan leaves with one part of the batter until smooth.

Grease a 20cm square cake tin with oil and heat up.

Pour a small amount of the pandan batter, and cook it until the layer is set.

Add a layer of white batter on top and cook it until set.

Continue alternating the layers until all the batter has been used.

Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).

Bake the cake for 25-30 minutes.

Let the cake cool completely before slicing and serving.
