How To Make Indonesian Gule Recipe
Hearty and comforting, this lamb and vegetable curry is full of aromatic spices and creamy coconut milk.

Ingredients
- 1 lb lamb shoulder, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1 onion, chopped
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 inch ginger, peeled and grated
- 1 tsp turmeric powder
- 1 tsp coriander powder
- 1 tsp cumin powder
- 1 tsp chili powder
- 1 cup coconut milk
- 2 cups water
- 2 potatoes, peeled and chopped
- 2 carrots, peeled and chopped
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
- Salt, to taste
Instructions

Heat oil in a large pot over medium heat.

Add onion, garlic, and ginger and sauté until softened and fragrant.

Add lamb and cook until browned on all sides.

Add turmeric, coriander, cumin, and chili powder. Stir well.

Add coconut milk, water, potatoes, and carrots. Cover and simmer for 1 hour.

Season with salt to taste.
