How To Make Instant Pot Chicken Tikka Masala Recipe
A classic Indian dish made easy in the Instant Pot with tender chicken in a creamy tomato sauce with aromatic spices.

Ingredients
- 1 1/2 lbs boneless chicken, cut in bite-size pieces
- 1 cup plain Greek yogurt
- 1 tbsp ginger paste
- 1 tbsp garlic paste
- 1 tsp turmeric powder
- 1 tsp cumin powder
- 1 tsp coriander powder
- 1 tsp garam masala
- 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
- Salt, to taste
- 1 tbsp oil
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 tomatoes, chopped
- 1 cup heavy cream
- Fresh cilantro, chopped (optional)
Instructions

In a large bowl, mix together the chicken, yogurt, ginger paste, garlic paste, turmeric powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, garam masala, cayenne pepper, and salt.

Set the Instant Pot to Saute mode and add the oil. Once hot, add the onion and cook until softened, about 2-3 minutes.

Add the marinated chicken and cook for 2-3 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Add the chopped tomatoes and mix well.

Press Cancel, then select Manual and set the timer for 5 minutes.

Quick release the pressure and open the lid.

Stir in the heavy cream and adjust seasoning to taste.

Serve hot with rice or naan bread, garnished with fresh cilantro (optional).
