How To Make Indian Tofu Saag Recipe
A flavorful vegetarian dish made with fresh spinach, spices and tofu that is perfect for a healthy weeknight dinner.

Ingredients
- 1 block tofu, pressed and cubed
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 inch ginger, minced
- 2 green chilies, chopped
- 1 tsp cumin seeds
- 1 tsp coriander powder
- 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
- Salt to taste
- 1 tbsp oil
- 2 cups spinach leaves, cleaned and chopped
- 1/4 cup water
- 1/4 cup heavy cream (optional)
Instructions

In a pan, heat oil and add cumin seeds.

Add onions, green chilies, ginger, and garlic. Sauté until golden brown.

Add coriander powder, turmeric, and salt. Mix well.

Add spinach leaves and water. Cover and cook for 5 minutes.

Let the mixture cool, then blend it to a fine paste.

In a separate pan, add oil and tofu cubes. Sauté until golden brown.

Add the spinach paste to the pan and mix well.

Add heavy cream (optional) and let it simmer for 5-10 minutes.

Serve hot with rice or naan.
