How To Make Lamb Saag Recipe

Ingredients
- 500g lamb, cut into cubes
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 3 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1-inch piece of ginger, grated
- 2 green chilies, chopped
- 1 tsp cumin powder
- 1 tsp coriander powder
- 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
- 1/2 tsp garam masala
- 1/2 tsp red chili powder (optional, adjust to taste)
- 2 cups spinach, chopped
- 1/2 cup cilantro leaves, chopped
- Salt, to taste
- Pepper, to taste
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
Instructions

Heat the vegetable oil in a large pan over medium heat. Add the onions and cook until golden brown.

Add the garlic, ginger, and green chilies to the pan. Cook for another 2 minutes.

Add the lamb pieces to the pan and cook until browned on all sides.

Add the cumin powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, garam masala, and red chili powder. Stir well to coat the lamb in the spices.

Add the chopped spinach and cilantro leaves to the pan. Cook until wilted.

Season with salt and pepper to taste. Pour in the water and bring to a simmer. Cover the pan and cook for 1 hour or until the lamb is tender.

Stir in the heavy cream and cook for an additional 5 minutes.

Serve the Lamb Saag hot with steamed rice or naan bread.
