How To Make Saag Paneer

Ingredients
- 2 cups fresh spinach
- 200g paneer cheese, cut into cubes
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 tomatoes, pureed
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1-inch ginger, grated
- 1 tsp cumin seeds
- 1 tsp turmeric powder
- 1 tsp garam masala
- 1 tsp red chili powder
- Salt to taste
- 2 tbsp oil
- Water as needed
Instructions

Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds. Let them splutter.

Add chopped onions and sauté until golden brown.

Add minced garlic and grated ginger. Cook for a minute.

Add tomato puree and cook until oil separates.

Add turmeric, garam masala, red chili powder, and salt. Mix well.

Add spinach and cook until wilted.

Remove from heat and let it cool. Blend into a smooth paste.

Heat oil in a pan and add the spinach paste. Cook for 5 minutes.

Add paneer cubes and cook for another 5 minutes.

Serve hot with naan or rice.
