Indian Tofu Paratha Recipe

How To Make Indian Tofu Paratha Recipe

A delicious Indian paratha filled with flavorful tofu.

Serves:

Ingredients

  • 2 cups of whole wheat flour
  • 1/2 tsp of salt
  • 2 tbsp of oil
  • 1 cup of crumbled firm tofu
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 1 green chili, finely chopped
  • 1/2 tsp of cumin powder
  • 1/4 tsp of turmeric powder
  • 1/4 tsp of coriander powder
  • 1/2 tsp of chaat masala

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix wheat flour, salt and oil. Add water and knead into a soft dough. Keep it aside.

  2. In a frying pan, sauté onions and green chili. Add crumbled tofu and mix well.

  3. Add cumin powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder and chaat masala. Mix well and let it cook for 2-3 minutes.

  4. Divide the dough into small portions. Roll each portion into a small circle. Add the tofu mixture in the center. Fold the edges to cover the filling and roll it into a paratha.

  5. Place the paratha on a hot griddle and cook on both sides until golden brown.

  6. Serve hot with chutney, pickle or yogurt.
