How To Make Indian Tofu Bhojpuri Recipe
A delicious and flavorful Indian tofu dish made with a spicy tomato-based gravy.
Serves:
Ingredients
- 1 block of tofu, pressed and cubed
- 2 onions, chopped
- 2 tomatoes, chopped
- 2 green chilies, chopped
- 1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
- 1 tsp cumin seeds
- 1 tsp red chili powder
- 1 tsp coriander powder
- 1 tsp garam masala
- Salt, to taste
- Water
- Oil, for cooking
Instructions

Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds. Once they splutter, add chopped onions and sauté until golden brown.

Add ginger-garlic paste and chopped green chilies and sauté for a minute.

Add chopped tomatoes, salt, and spices (red chili powder, coriander powder, and garam masala). Cook until tomatoes turn mushy.

Add a cup of water and let the gravy simmer for 10 minutes.

Add cubed tofu and cook for another 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Serve hot with rice or bread.
