Ingredients

  • 1 cucumber, peeled and grated
  • 2 cups Greek yogurt
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tsp dried dill
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Place the grated cucumber in a clean kitchen towel and squeeze out any excess moisture.

  2. In a bowl, mix together the grated cucumber, Greek yogurt, minced garlic, olive oil, lemon juice, dried dill, salt, and pepper.

  3. Stir until well combined and refrigerate for at least 1 hour to allow the flavors to meld.

  4. Serve chilled as a dip or sauce for gyros, kebabs, or as a spread for sandwiches.
