How To Make Trio’s Greek Gyro Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 lb beef, thinly sliced
  • 4 pitas
  • 1 cup Greek yogurt
  • 1/2 cup cucumber, diced
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 cup lettuce, shredded
  • 1/2 cup red onion, thinly sliced
  • 1/2 cup tomato, diced
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, mix Greek yogurt, cucumber, lemon juice, garlic powder, salt, and pepper to make tzatziki sauce.

  2. In a pan, cook beef slices with oregano, salt, and pepper until browned.

  3. Warm pitas in the oven or over a grill.

  4. Assemble gyro by placing beef, lettuce, onion, and tomato on pita and drizzling with tzatziki sauce.
