How To Make Dutch Apple Fritters Recipe
A crispy, fried fritter filled with sweet apples and spiced with cinnamon and nutmeg.

Ingredients
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 cups peeled, diced apples
- Vegetable oil for frying
- Powdered sugar for dusting
Instructions

In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.

In a separate bowl, beat together milk, egg, and vanilla.

Add wet ingredients to dry ingredients and mix until just combined.

Fold in diced apples.

Heat 1/2 inch oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.

Drop batter by spoonfuls into hot oil and fry until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes per side.
