Ingredients

  • 4 chicken drumsticks
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • Vegetable oil for frying
  • 4 hopper pancakes

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix together the turmeric powder, chili powder, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, and salt.

  2. Rub the spice mixture onto the chicken drumsticks and let them marinate for 10 minutes.

  3. In a separate bowl, place the all-purpose flour.

  4. Dip each marinated chicken drumstick into the flour, making sure it is thoroughly coated.

  5. Heat vegetable oil in a deep pan or fryer over medium heat.

  6. Carefully place the coated chicken drumsticks into the hot oil and fry until golden brown and cooked through, about 10-12 minutes.

  7. Remove the fried chicken from the oil and place it on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.

  8. Serve the crispy fried chicken drumsticks with warm hopper pancakes.
