How To Make Instant Pot Teriyaki Chicken Recipe
Tender and juicy chicken in a savory teriyaki sauce, made easily in an Instant Pot.
Serves:
Ingredients
- 1.5 lb boneless, skinless chicken thighs
- 1/2 cup low-sodium soy sauce
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup rice vinegar
- 1 tsp minced garlic
- 1 tsp grated ginger
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 1 tbsp water
- sesame seeds and sliced green onions for garnish
Instructions

In the Instant Pot, combine chicken, soy sauce, honey, brown sugar, rice vinegar, garlic, and ginger.

Close Instant Pot lid and set valve to sealing position.

Cook on manual high pressure for 8 minutes.

Once done, let the pressure release naturally for 5 minutes and then do a quick release.

Remove chicken from Instant Pot and set aside.

Set Instant Pot to sauté mode.

In a small bowl, whisk cornstarch and water together to make a slurry.

Slowly add the slurry to the teriyaki sauce and stir until it thickens.

Return chicken to the Instant Pot and coat in the thickened sauce.

Serve over rice and garnish with sesame seeds and sliced green onions.
