How To Make Sara Lee’s Chocolate Mousse Recipe
Rich, creamy and silky smooth chocolate mousse that is sure to satisfy your sweet tooth cravings.

Ingredients
- 1 cup of heavy cream
- 1/2 cup of semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 2 egg yolks
- 2 tbsp of granulated sugar
- 1/2 tsp of vanilla extract
- Pinch of salt
Instructions

In a double boiler, melt the chocolate chips and stir until smooth. Set aside.

In a large mixing bowl, beat the heavy cream until stiff peaks form. Set aside.

In another mixing bowl, beat the egg yolks, sugar, vanilla extract and salt until pale and creamy.

Gradually fold the melted chocolate into the egg yolk mixture until well combined.

Fold in the whipped cream until thoroughly mixed.

Pour the mixture into serving dishes and chill in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours.

Serve chilled and garnish with additional whipped cream and chocolate shavings if desired.
