How To Make Rah Rah’s Jalapeno Poppers
Fiery jalapenos loaded with cheesy goodness- perfect for game day or any party!
Serves:
Ingredients
- 8 jalapeno peppers
- 4 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 eggs, beaten
- vegetable oil, for frying
Instructions

Cut jalapenos in half lengthwise and remove the seeds and membranes.

In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, cheddar cheese, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.

Spoon cheese mixture into jalapeno halves and press halves back together.

Put flour, eggs, and breadcrumbs into three separate shallow dishes.

Dip each jalapeno popper first in flour, then in eggs, and finally into breadcrumbs.

Heat oil in a deep fryer or large pan over medium-high heat.

Fry the poppers in small batches for 2-3 minutes, or until golden brown.

Drain on paper towels and serve hot.
