How To Make O’Charley’s Baked Potato Recipe

Perfectly baked potatoes loaded with butter, cheese, bacon and sour cream.

Ingredients

  • 4 large baking potatoes
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter
  • 1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 4 strips cooked bacon, crumbled
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F.

  2. Clean and scrub the potatoes. Pat dry.

  3. Rub the potatoes with a little bit of butter and some salt.

  4. Pierce the potatoes all over with a fork.

  5. Bake the potatoes in the preheated oven for 1 hour or until the potatoes are soft and cooked through.

  6. Remove the potatoes from the oven and let cool for a few minutes.

  7. Cut them vertically in half and fluff the potatoes with a fork.

  8. Top each potato half with a tablespoon of butter, shredded cheese, bacon, and sour cream.

  9. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
