How To Make Cornbread Recipe
A classic Southern side dish that’s slightly sweet, crumbly, and perfect with BBQ.

Ingredients
- 1 cup cornmeal
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 tbsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
Instructions

Preheat oven to 400°F.

In a bowl, whisk together cornmeal, flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.

In another bowl, whisk together eggs, buttermilk, and vegetable oil.

Pour wet ingredients into dry ingredients and stir until just combined.

Pour batter into a greased 8×8 inch baking dish and bake for 20 minutes or until golden brown.

Let cool before slicing and serving.
