How To Make Long John Silver’s Shrimp Scampi

Juicy shrimp cooked in a buttery garlic wine sauce, perfect for a seafood treat!

Ingredients

  • 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup white wine
  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Lemon wedges, for serving

Instructions

  1. Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat.

  2. Add garlic and red pepper flakes and cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.

  3. Add shrimp and cook until pink and cooked through, about 3-4 minutes per side.

  4. Pour in white wine, scrape the bottom of the skillet with a wooden spoon to release any browned bits.

  5. Cook until wine has reduced by half, about 2-3 minutes.

  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

  7. Remove from heat and stir in parsley.

  8. Serve hot with lemon wedges on the side.
