How To Make Lone Star Jalapeno Poppers Recipe
A fiery & cheesy appetizer with a crunchy exterior and a spicy interior.

Ingredients
- 8 jalapeno peppers, halved lengthwise & seeded
- 4 oz. cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp. paprika
- 1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 cup Panko breadcrumbs
- Vegetable oil for frying
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 375°F.

In a medium bowl, mix together cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, garlic powder, paprika, and cayenne pepper.

Fill each jalapeno half with the cheese mixture.

Dredge the pepper in flour, dip in eggs, and coat in Panko breadcrumbs, pressing the breadcrumbs in to adhere.

Heat vegetable oil in a deep fryer or a Dutch oven to 375°F.

Fry the peppers until golden brown, for about 3-4 minutes.

Place the poppers on a baking sheet and bake for 5-8 minutes, until cheese is melted and bubbly.
