Ingredients

  • 2 large onions, sliced into rings
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 egg
  • 2 cups bread crumbs
  • Vegetable oil for frying

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix together flour, baking powder, paprika, salt, and garlic powder.

  2. In another bowl, whisk together milk and egg.

  3. Dip onion rings in the flour mixture, then the milk mixture, and finally coat in bread crumbs.

  4. Heat up vegetable oil in a deep frying pan.

  5. Fry the onion rings in batches until golden brown and crispy.

  6. Place the cooked onion rings on a paper towel to remove excess oil.
