Ingredients

  • 2 large onions, sliced into rings
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 1/2 cups milk
  • 2 cups panko breadcrumbs
  • Vegetable oil, for frying

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine the flour, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.

  2. Dip the onion rings in the milk.

  3. Coat the onion rings in the flour mixture and shake off any excess.

  4. Dip the onion rings in the milk again.

  5. Coat the onion rings in the panko breadcrumbs and press gently to adhere.

  6. Heat the vegetable oil in a large pot to 350°F.

  7. Fry the onion rings in batches for 2-3 minutes or until golden brown.

  8. Drain the onion rings on paper towels and season with additional salt if desired.
