How To Make Johnny’s Apple Pie Recipe
A classic apple pie recipe made with sweet and juicy apples, flaky crust, and warm cinnamon spices.

Ingredients
- 1 pre-made pie crust
- 5 cups of thinly sliced apples (peeled and cored)
- 1/2 cup of white sugar
- 1/2 cup of brown sugar
- 1 tsp of ground cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp of ground nutmeg
- 1/4 tsp of salt
- 1 tbsp of unsalted butter
- 1 egg, beaten
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

Roll out the pie crust and place it into a 9-inch (23 cm) pie dish.

In a large bowl, mix together the apples, white sugar, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.

Pour the apple mixture into the pie crust, and dot it with small pieces of butter.

Roll out the remaining pie crust and cut it into thin strips to create a lattice top.

Brush the lattice crust with the beaten egg and bake for 50-60 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the apples are tender.

Serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
