Ingredients

  • 1 lb fresh green beans, ends trimmed
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Blanch green beans in a pot of boiling water for 3-4 minutes until tender.

  2. Drain green beans and set aside.

  3. Melt butter in a pan over medium heat.

  4. Add garlic and sauté for a minute until fragrant.

  5. Add green beans to the pan and toss well with garlic butter.

  6. Drizzle with lemon juice and season with salt and pepper to taste.

  7. Serve hot.
