How To Make In-N-Out Double-Double Recipe

A perfect replica of the famous In-N-Out Double-Double – two juicy beef patties, two slices of American cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion, and special sauce, all sandwiched between two toasted buns!

Serves:

Ingredients

  • 8 beef patties (1/4 lb each)
  • 8 slices of American cheese
  • 4 hamburger buns
  • 4 tbsp of mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp of ketchup
  • 1 tbsp of yellow mustard
  • 1/2 tsp of paprika
  • 1/2 tsp of garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp of salt
  • 1/4 tsp of black pepper
  • Lettuce, tomato, and onion (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat grill, griddle, or large skillet to medium-high heat.

  2. Toast the hamburger buns on the grill and set aside.

  3. In a small bowl, mix together mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper to make the special sauce.

  4. Cook the beef patties to desired temperature (3-4 minutes per side for medium-rare).

  5. In the last minute of cooking, add a slice of American cheese on top of each patty.

  6. To assemble the burger, spread special sauce on one side of the bun, add lettuce, tomato, and onion (if desired), then add two beef patties with cheese on top, and finally the other side of the bun.

  7. Serve hot and enjoy!
