Ingredients

  • 4 cups of day-old bread, torn into small pieces
  • 2 cups of milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup of sugar
  • 1/2 cup of raisins
  • 1/4 cup of butter, melted
  • 1 tsp of vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp of ground cinnamon
  • Pinch of nutmeg

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.

  2. Place bread pieces in a large bowl and pour milk over them. Let soak for 10 minutes.

  3. In a separate bowl, beat eggs and sugar together until well combined.

  4. Add raisins, melted butter, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and nutmeg to egg mixture. Stir to combine.

  5. Pour egg mixture over bread and milk mixture, stirring to combine.
