How To Make Emeril Lagasse Dirty Rice Recipe
A spicy Cajun rice dish with a mix of chicken livers, ground pork, and vegetables.

Ingredients
- 1 cup white rice
- 1 lb ground pork
- 1 cup chicken livers, finely chopped
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 bell pepper, chopped
- 3 celery stalks, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
- 1 tsp dried thyme
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1/4 cup green onions, chopped
- 1/4 cup parsley, chopped
Instructions

Cook rice according to package instructions.

In a large skillet, brown the ground pork over medium heat.

Add chicken livers and cook until just browned.

Add onion, bell pepper, celery, and garlic. Cook until vegetables are tender.

Add paprika, cayenne, thyme, salt, and pepper. Stir to combine.

Add cooked rice and stir to combine.

Cook for an additional 5 minutes, stirring frequently.
