How To Make Eldon’s Shrimp and Grits Recipe
A delicious Southern dish that combines savory shrimp with creamy grits.

Ingredients
- 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 cup quick-cooking grits
- 4 cups chicken or vegetable broth
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 4 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 2 tbsp butter
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp Cajun seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions

In a medium pot, bring broth to a boil. Gradually whisk in grits.

Reduce heat and cook, stirring often, for about 5-7 minutes or until grits are cooked through. Stir in heavy cream, butter, and shredded cheese until melted and combined. Add salt and pepper to taste.

In a large skillet, cook bacon until crispy. Remove from skillet and crumble.

Season shrimp with Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper.

In the same skillet over medium heat, add seasoned shrimp and minced garlic. Cook until shrimp are pink and cooked through, about 3-5 minutes.

To serve, divide grits among four bowls and top with cooked shrimp and crumbled bacon.
