How To Make Blue Ribbon Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients
- 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp cornstarch
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 3/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 egg + 1 yolk
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
Instructions

Preheat oven to 350°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, cornstarch, and salt.

In a large bowl, cream together melted butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until well combined.

Add egg, yolk, and vanilla extract into the wet mixture and stir until combined.

Gradually stir in dry ingredients, followed by chocolate chips.

Use a cookie scoop or spoon to form dough balls and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
