  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • Vegetable oil (for frying)
  • 8 small tortillas
  • Taco toppings: shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, shredded cheese, sour cream, etc.

Instructions

  1. In a shallow bowl, whisk together flour, salt, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper.

  2. Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium-high heat.

  3. Dip chicken breasts into the flour mixture, pressing firmly to coat thoroughly.

  4. Fry the chicken in hot oil for about 6-8 minutes per side, or until golden brown and cooked through.

  5. Remove chicken from the pan and place on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.

  6. Warm tortillas in a dry skillet or microwave.

  7. Slice the fried chicken into strips and divide evenly among the tortillas.

  8. Top with desired taco toppings.

  9. Serve immediately and enjoy!
