How To Make Piri-piri chicken

Ingredients

  • 4 chicken drumsticks
  • 4 chicken thighs
  • 4 tbsp piri-piri sauce
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 lemon, juiced

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix together the piri-piri sauce, olive oil, minced garlic, paprika, salt, black pepper, and lemon juice.

  2. Add the chicken to the marinade, making sure it is well coated. Let it marinate for at least 1 hour, or overnight in the refrigerator.

  3. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Remove the chicken from the marinade and discard the excess marinade.

  4. Grill the chicken for about 12-15 minutes per side, or until it reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).

  5. Remove the chicken from the grill and let it rest for a few minutes before serving.
