How To Make Baked Piri-Piri Tilapia with Crushed Potatoes

Ingredients
- 4 tilapia fillets
- 2 tablespoons of piri-piri sauce
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
- 1 teaspoon of paprika
- 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon of dried oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon of dried thyme
- 2 pounds of potatoes, peeled and cut into chunks
- 4 tablespoons of butter
- 1/4 cup of milk
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and grease a baking dish.

In a small bowl, mix together piri-piri sauce, olive oil, paprika, garlic powder, salt, black pepper, dried oregano, and dried thyme.

Place the tilapia fillets in the prepared baking dish and drizzle the piri-piri mixture over them, spreading evenly.

Bake the tilapia in the preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes or until cooked through and flaky.

While the tilapia is baking, cook the potatoes in a pot of salted boiling water until tender. Drain the potatoes and return them to the pot.

Add the butter and milk to the pot with the potatoes. Mash the potatoes until creamy and well combined with the butter and milk. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Serve the baked piri-piri tilapia on a bed of crushed potatoes, garnished with fresh parsley.
