How To Make Korean Fried Chicken

Ingredients
- 2 lbs of chicken wings
- 1 cup of all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp of salt
- 1 tsp of black pepper
- 1 tsp of garlic powder
- 1/2 cup of cornstarch
- Vegetable oil, for frying
- For the sauce:
- 1/2 cup of gochujang (Korean red pepper paste)
- 1/4 cup of soy sauce
- 1/4 cup of honey
- 2 tbsp of rice vinegar
- 1 tbsp of sesame oil
- 1 tbsp of minced garlic
- 1 tsp of grated ginger
- Sesame seeds and sliced green onions, for garnish
Instructions

In a large bowl, mix flour, salt, black pepper, and garlic powder. Coat the chicken wings with the flour mixture.

Heat vegetable oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 350°F (175°C). Fry the chicken wings in batches for about 10-12 minutes until golden brown and cooked through. Drain on paper towels.

In a saucepan, combine gochujang, soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, sesame oil, minced garlic, and grated ginger. Cook over low heat for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Toss the fried chicken wings in the sauce until well coated. Garnish with sesame seeds and sliced green onions.
