Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil

Instructions

  1. Pound the chicken breasts to an even thickness.

  2. In three separate bowls, place the flour, beaten eggs, and breadcrumbs mixed with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and Parmesan cheese.

  3. Dredge each chicken breast in the flour, then dip into the beaten eggs, and finally coat in the breadcrumb mixture.

  4. Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat.

  5. Cook the breaded chicken breasts for about 5-6 minutes on each side, until golden brown and cooked through.

  6. Remove the chicken from the skillet and place on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.

  7. Serve hot and enjoy!
