How To Make Malt Loaf with Banana & Honey

Ingredients
- 2 ripe bananas, mashed
- 1/4 cup of honey
- 1/4 cup of melted butter
- 1/2 cup of malt extract
- 1 cup of self-raising flour
- 1/2 cup of whole wheat flour
- 1/2 tsp of baking soda
- pinch of salt
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.

In a large bowl, mix together the mashed bananas, honey, melted butter, and malt extract until well combined.

In a separate bowl, whisk together the self-raising flour, whole wheat flour, baking soda, and salt.

Gradually add the dry ingredients to the banana mixture, stirring until just combined.

Pour the batter into the greased loaf pan and smooth the top with a spatula.

Bake for 50 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

Remove from the oven and allow to cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
