How To Make Chocolate & Malt Loaf Torte

Ingredients
- 200g dark chocolate
- 150g malt loaf, crumbled
- 100g unsalted butter
- 3 large eggs
- 100g granulated sugar
- 50g all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/4 tsp salt
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F) and grease a 9-inch round cake pan.

Melt the dark chocolate and butter together in a heatproof bowl set over simmering water.

In a separate bowl, whisk the eggs and sugar until light and fluffy.

Stir in the melted chocolate mixture, then fold in the crumbled malt loaf, flour, vanilla extract, and salt.

Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and smooth the top.

Bake for 40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.

Allow the torte to cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely before serving.
