Ingredients

  • 4 slices of white bread
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/4 cup of sugar
  • 1/2 cup of milk
  • 1 tsp of vanilla extract
  • 1/4 tsp of salt
  • 1/4 tsp of baking powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

  2. Cut the white bread into small cubes and set aside.

  3. In a mixing bowl, whisk the eggs and sugar until well combined.

  4. Add the milk, vanilla extract, salt, and baking powder to the egg mixture and mix well.

  5. Gently fold in the bread cubes until they are fully coated in the mixture.

  6. Pour the mixture into a greased baking dish and spread it evenly.

  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes or until the top is golden brown and the center is set.

  8. Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
