How To Make Custard Bread Pudding

Ingredients
- 4 cups of cubed bread
- 2 cups of milk
- 1/2 cup of sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp of vanilla extract
- 1/4 tsp of nutmeg
- 1/4 tsp of cinnamon
- 1/4 cup of raisins (optional)
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a baking dish.

In a large bowl, whisk together the milk, sugar, eggs, vanilla extract, nutmeg, and cinnamon.

Add the cubed bread to the custard mixture, making sure all the bread is soaked.

If desired, stir in the raisins.

Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish and smooth the top.

Bake for 45 minutes, or until the pudding is set and the top is golden brown.
