How To Make Bangers and Mash Sausage Rolls

Bangers and mash is a classic British dish, and they’re made irresistible with this sausage rolls recipe! Enjoy sausages and soft potatoes all in one bite.

Ingredients

  • 4sausages
  • mashed potato,cold
  • 4puff pastry,thawed
  • 1egg
  • onion gravy,for a side, optional

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, brown the sausages on all sides until mostly cooked through. Set aside to cool slightly.

  2. Unroll each sheet of puff pastry and cut into 4 pieces. Spread the mash over each pastry, top with cooked sausage, and additional mash. Roll up each sheet then pinch together to seal and trim off any excess.

  3. Place on a greased baking sheet, seam side down, and brush each roll with beaten egg.

  4. Bake in a preheated oven at 375 degrees F for about 25 to 30 minutes or until the pastry is golden and crispy on all sides and the meat has cooked through.

  5. Serve with a side of onion gravy, and enjoy!
