Ingredients

  • 1 lb beef sirloin, thinly sliced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 onion, thinly sliced
  • 2 bell peppers, thinly sliced
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix together soy sauce, sesame oil, sugar, garlic, and ginger. Add beef slices and marinate for 10 minutes.

  2. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over high heat. Add marinated beef slices and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until browned. Remove from skillet and set aside.

  3. In the same skillet, add onion and bell peppers. Stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until vegetables are crisp-tender.

  4. Return beef to the skillet and add green onions. Stir-fry for another minute. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

  5. Serve hot with steamed rice.
