Ingredients

  • 4 sirloin steaks
  • 1/2 cup teriyaki sauce
  • 1 fennel bulb, thinly sliced
  • 2 carrots, julienned
  • 1/4 cup cilantro, chopped
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Marinate the sirloin steaks in teriyaki sauce for at least 30 minutes.

  2. Preheat grill or skillet over medium-high heat.

  3. Grill or sear the steaks for about 3-4 minutes per side, or until desired doneness. Let them rest for 5 minutes before slicing.

  4. In a bowl, combine fennel, carrots, cilantro, mayonnaise, rice vinegar, sesame oil, salt, and pepper. Mix well.

  5. Serve sliced steak on a plate with a side of fennel slaw.
