Ingredients

  • 1 lb beef sirloin, thinly sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp ginger, grated
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp hoisin sauce
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 8 large lettuce leaves
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions
  • 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
  • 1/4 cup chopped peanuts (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine the garlic, ginger, soy sauce, hoisin sauce, rice vinegar, honey, and sesame oil.

  2. Add the beef to the marinade and let it sit for at least 10 minutes.

  3. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and cook the beef until browned and cooked through, about 3-4 minutes.

  4. Remove the beef from the skillet and set aside.

  5. Arrange the lettuce leaves on a platter.

  6. Fill each lettuce leaf with some of the cooked beef.

  7. Sprinkle with green onions, cilantro, and peanuts (if using).

  8. Serve immediately and enjoy!
