Ingredients

  • 16 wonton wrappers
  • 1 cup of cooked ground meat (such as pork or chicken)
  • 1/2 cup of chopped vegetables (such as bell peppers or carrots)
  • 2 tablespoons of soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon of sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon of ginger powder
  • Vegetable oil for frying

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix together the cooked ground meat, chopped vegetables, soy sauce, sesame oil, garlic powder, and ginger powder.

  2. Lay one wonton wrapper on a clean surface. Place a spoonful of the meat and vegetable mixture in the center of the wrapper.

  3. Moisten the edges of the wrapper with water, then fold it in half to form a triangle. Press the edges to seal.

  4. Repeat with the remaining wrappers and filling.

  5. Heat vegetable oil in a deep pan or pot over medium heat.

  6. Carefully place the wonton wrappers into the hot oil, a few at a time, and fry until golden brown and crispy, about 2-3 minutes per side.

  7. Remove from the oil and drain on a paper towel-lined plate.

  8. Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
