Ingredients

  • 4 slices of crusty bread
  • 4 oz smoked salmon
  • 4 oz cream cheese
  • 1 tbsp fresh dill, chopped
  • 1 tbsp fresh chives, chopped
  • 1 lemon, sliced into wedges
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Toast the slices of bread until golden brown.

  2. Spread a generous layer of cream cheese on each toasted slice.

  3. Top with smoked salmon slices.

  4. Sprinkle fresh dill and chives on top.

  5. Squeeze a wedge of lemon over each tartine and season with salt and pepper.

  6. Serve immediately.
