Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/3 cup water
  • 2 potatoes, boiled and mashed
  • 1/2 cup peas
  • 1 tsp cumin seeds
  • 1 tsp coriander powder
  • 1 tsp garam masala
  • 1 tsp amchur powder
  • 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil, for frying

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, oil, and salt. Mix well.

  2. Add water gradually to form a smooth dough. Cover and rest for 20 minutes.

  3. In a pan, heat oil and add cumin seeds. Once they splutter, add peas and mashed potatoes.

  4. Add coriander powder, garam masala, amchur powder, turmeric powder, and salt. Mix well and cook for 2-3 minutes.

  5. Divide the dough into small balls and roll them into circles.

  6. Cut each circle in half and form it into a cone shape. Fill the cone with the potato-peas mixture and seal the edges.

  7. Heat oil for frying and fry the samosas until golden brown.

  8. Serve hot with chutney or ketchup.
