How To Make Chicken & Fennel au Gratin

Ingredients
- 4 chicken breasts, boneless and skinless
- 2 fennel bulbs, thinly sliced
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Place them in a baking dish.

In a separate bowl, combine the sliced fennel, olive oil, dried thyme, salt, and pepper. Mix well to coat the fennel.

Arrange the fennel slices over the chicken breasts in the baking dish.

In another bowl, mix together the mozzarella cheese, parmesan cheese, and breadcrumbs. Sprinkle this mixture evenly over the fennel and chicken.

Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the cheese is golden and bubbly.
